WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF A FLY FISHING REEL?

I am an field enrollee disagreeable to create a control sportfishing lurch in Solidworks but cannot encounter the dimensions of the control sportfishing lurch anywhere on the internet.     picture a tuna can… and then make it a little larger (about 4-41/2 inches in diameter and about an inch and a half wide) about that exact size and shape generally. The numerous holes around the entire reel (that make it look like swiss cheese) are slightly smaller than the diameter of a pencil. The groove around the entire spool where the line fits in is about an 11/2—2 inches deep. The ’spool’ in the very center is anywhere from 1/2 — 3/4 inches in diameter. Hope that gives you an idea.

    hey man, fly reels comes in all different sizes it all depends on the model and make. if i was you i would take a trip to the local bait and tackle shop and just measure one if you had a certain particular one in mind. i have one that is 3 inches in diameter but there are smaller ones and then there are reels that are twice the size of mine. man i am sorry that i couldnt be of anymore help. it is just that your question is very broad. good fishin

    there are many different sizes of fly-reels. i depends on what weight line you are using, how much backing you need, salt water or fresh water. way too many variables to consider with the limited information you gave.
